Bett’s Reflections and Intentions for New Years

I’ve built an end of year reflections and intentions template that you can do in a few minutes to ensure that next year you are getting all your needs met.

This template is based on years of research and refinement. To learn more about the background resources on this click here, here, and here

The template is in both a google spreadsheet which you can make a copy of.

I made a video of the Daily version of this that you can look at to get an idea.

You can either print the template, create a format in a journal or use a device to digitally update the format.

Overview of the colors:

Beige: Instinctive Survival (Basic Needs/embodiment/health)

Purple: Tribal Order (Magical/Nature/Family/Close Friends)

Red: Ecocentric (Skills, Personal Boundaries, Self Worth)

Blue: Purposeful Order (Law and Order, Paperwork, Accounting, Taxes, follow the rules)

Orange: Strategic Enterprise (Make Money, 401k, Individualistic/Achievement)

Green: Humanistic Community (Going Green, Inclusiveness, Pluralistic/Relativistic)

Yellow: Systemic (Integral/Global Impact)

How to use it:

Sometime around New Years set a side 30 minutes to an hour minutes for yourself. Find a comfortable spot where you won’t be interrupted. Put some nice music on. With the template in front of you, answer each of the questions. You can always skip anything that doesn’t feel relevant at that moment.

Afterwards, review the results and plan your year.

This will allow you to ensure that you are getting all your needs met.

If you liked this be sure to use the Daily Meditation version for your daily review.
