Rating Your Meeting

How good are your meetings?

How good are your meetings?

I once introduced a rating form for one of my organizations a while back. The team had suspected that their meetings needed some help, so they asked me to come up with a solution. I decided to get more data and so I created a google form with three simple questions:

1) How was the meeting: Smiley, Flat face, Frowney

2) What could be improved (Optional) Text box

3) What went well (Optional) Text box

Over just a few weeks of rating their meetings their scores improved dramatically. I was very impressed by how such a simple system could create such dramatic results.

The reason why it helped was because the form asked for specifics. Even if not everyone fils in the “What can be improved and what went well” text boxes, the few who do enter data give insights into how to improve the meetings.

Try out rating some of your teams meetings to see if you can improve your meetings too.
